WINDWHISTLE PLAYGROUP
Preschoolers, from newborn to children about to start school, along with their parents from the wider Windwhistle, Lake Coleridge and Glenroy area arrive every Tuesday for playgroup in the school library. Play group runs from 9.30am – 11.30am and new members are always welcome.
The playgroup children join the older students for their morning tea break and most of the 4 year-olds follow the junior class into their room for a special ‘Story Book’ session afterwards – meaning that transitioning into school as a 5 year-old is a very easy process with children knowing what to expect.
During summer months pre-school swim sessions in the school's heated pool are offered following playgroup, these have proven very popular during the warmer weather.
