Flavours of Windwhistle
The area of Windwhistle has been a meeting of the ways and the elements throughout time. The ancient pass through to the west is joined by two roads to cross the Rakaia Gorge. Windwhistle is aptly named as the Nor’West wind funnels though the Gorge and governs our lives. This cook book captures that spirit. The contents are contributed by the families of Windwhistle or their friends. It is to the familes and friends of Windwhistle that this book is dedicated.
